Week Long Sailing Courses for Adults and Kids

We offer week long sailing courses for both adults and kids on our Melges 24 sailboat, pictured above.  Kids and Families sail 2-5 PM Monday through Friday and adults sail 5:30 to 8:30 PM.  The adult session also gets to sail the Wednesday night beer can race!  Cost per adult is $600 for the week. Children are $500 for the week.  Parents are encouraged to sail too making for a fun family week of sailing.  The boat can acomodate 4 people per session.

What you will learn:

​

Monday:  How to rig the boat, understanding wind, tacking and gybing and how to trim the jib.

Tuesday: How to set, trim, gybe and douse a spinnaker.

Wednesday:  Kids learn to steer in the afternoon session.  Adults race in the evening session.

Thursday: Steering using telltales and steering through tacks and gybes.

Friday: The 3 types of douses with the spinnaker.  How to sail on and off a mooring.
